To examine enduring problems of business management through an historical analysis of the human relationships which govern the activities of large and small business concerns. From such historical study, national characteristics or psychological tendencies emerge that have continuously affected business decisions and role-playing. These tendencies, in turn form a background for the evolving business structure.
