To cross-fertilize relevant modern work in three areas: psychological writings which have had pervasive culture influence, writings in moral philosophy and religious ethics, and influential religious non-religious, and anti-religious statements, so that they can be brought to bear on the topics of self-fulfillment or self-realization as an increasingly accepted normative standard and its possible religious significance.
