To continue research on a book which is in progress on the logic and semantics of the American Constitution. The proposed book (which two major university presses have expressed interest in) will employ tools of contemporary analytical philosophy as heuristics among conflicting constitutional doctrines, showing that constitutional language can and should provide limited guidance for judicial decisions and that constitutional scholars can conduct limited but significant evaluations of constitutional doctrines and cases through criticisms which are politically relevant without being politically partisan.
