Study will explore: 1) New Variorum Edition of Shakespeare's Henry V— a continuation on the historical collation of editions of this play from Second Folio (1632 to the most modern edition; 2)Complete work on Old-Spelling Edition of Shakespeare's 2 Henry IV: 3)to complete the manuscripts of the six academic plays of the early 17th century (Malone Society Collections) and to write introduction and notes; 4)to continue editing of manuscripts of 21 political plays of the 1640s; 5)to revise the textual and critical introductions to the play Blurt Master-Constable by Thomas Dekker; and 6) a continuing study of misreadings in Elizabethan play texts based on compositors; misconstruing manuscripts written in the secretary hand.
