To pursue topics on supererogation (doing more than one's duty). To investigate from an analytical point of view various forms of supererogatory actions and their place in morality, e.g., acts of forgiveness, heroism, generosity, loyalty, etc. Study will enable methods of presenting the study of morality in a way which will more accurately represent practical moral decision making (e.g. with a more realistic, picture of the relationship between duty and self-interest than has traditionally been accepted).
