The Philosophy of Mysticism

To do intensive reading and exploring of the writings of major Eastern and Western mystics, and of the chief interpreters of mysticism in the 20th Century. The major focus will be on the philosophy of mysticism, with the Intent to concentrate on two basic questions or areas: l) the relations of philosophy and religion in both the nature of and the understanding of mysticism, and (2) the chief outlooks of mysticism about reality, knowledge, and values.
