Project has two aims: 1) to use systems theory and other ideas about epistemology as a context to show how diverse reader responses to a piece of literature can be viewed as a whole. Choosing literary critics with diverse theories of interpretation, an examination would be made of the differences between them, as they discuss the same novel or poem; and 2) to interpret the text and relevant contexts within the frame of systems theory.
