To investigate the parlance of religion as rooted in historical and cultural experience. To attempt to ferret out the "meanings" of religious statements by looking at their total semantic dimension. PI has worked on improving the methodology for introductory courses in religious studies even to the extent of writing a textbook. This study will probe even more deeply into religious language as a methodology for introductory courses in religion.
