To provide an opportunity for teachers from smaller private and state colleges, and junior and community colleges to work closely with the seminar director on problems of Chinese art history — problems related to their own teaching and research — and with the staff of the Nelson Gallery of Art concerning Chinese art objects in the museum collection.
