Comedy in the Drama of the Spanish Golden Age

To conduct a seminar on comedy in the Spanish Golden Age. By its nature comedy is more difficult to criticize than plays with a "message", and only a few articles deal with classical Spanish comedy. The seminar will explore the ideas of free love, adultery, racial harmony, etc., as they were publicly expressed in comedies, farces, and the comic relief of serious plays.
