Europe in the Age of Fascism, 1919-1945: A Historical Re-Examination

D¥6R£xamine the place of fascism in European history. The seminar will consider the origins of fascism and contemporary reaction to it. The development of fascism will be analyzed. Other more or less fascist movements (besides the Italian -German types) will be examined. Efforts will be made to draw comparisons, especially between the German and Italian movements. The seminar will also question whether fascism came to a halt in 1945.
