To allow students to do intensive reading on child life and attitudes toward children in an era of American history selected by the student. Emphasis will be placed on published materials and students will have the opportunity to work with the Ohio Historical Society. Papers will be prepared showing how social conditions, values and policies have affected children in given periods of American history.
