FAIN: FS-10473-76

Duke University (Durham, NC 27705-4677)
Lawrence Richardson (Project Director: January 1977 to present)

To examine a number of major problems in the topography of ancient Rome, all of which still require extensive work. These will include the duplication of temples on the Aventine, the gates of the "Servian" walls and others. Participants will assess the nature and reliability of the evidence and suggest possible solutions to the problems.
