Study of the Hispanic character of Spanish America--how that character was developed in Spain and how it was altered in its transferral to the New World. Shows how the origins and development of the Hispanic character affects the psychological make-up of present-day Spanish Americans. Study will enable fellow to give better understanding of Latin Americans and Spanish-Americans in U.S. to his students of Spanish.
