Study of Germany and the Locarno ero of the late 1920s, an era in which Germany, France and Great Britain attempted to overcome the bitter heritage of World War I through cooperation. Study focuses on the German government's conception of its aims in the negotiation of the Locarno security pact in 1925, popular reaction and political opposition to their efforts.
