FAIN: FT-12074-74

Michael Joseph Curley
University of Puget Sound (Tacoma, WA 98416-5000)

To translate the popular Medieval Latin bestiary known as Physiologus, and to provide the translation with a brief introduction and explanatory notes. The purpose of the project is to make available to the general reader an important text in the history of ideas and one of the most influential books next to those of Boethius, Macrobius and Jen de Meun during the Middle Ages.
