To provide material on Jewish contributions in the multi-faceted American development from colonial days to the present. To examine the Jewish experience in America and the reaction of Jew and non-Jew to that adventure. It is hoped such information, used in American History and American Studies classes, will lead to a better understanding of the Jewish experience, as well as offer a better appreciation of American opportunities and problems.
