To undertake a textual study of the 1937 Edition of A Vision by W. B. Yeats. Yeats made extensive changes in A Vision between the first edition of 1926 and the later version, and the 1937 edition itself exists in 3 different states. The purpose of this textual study, therefore, is to determine which of the variants in the posthumous printings have Yeats' authority, and thus establish a definitive text.
