Project consists of an annotated translation and the old Russian original of The Life of the Archpriest Avvakum, Written By Himself, together with an adapted translation of V.V. Vinogradov, "On the Problems of Stylistics: Observations on the Style of The Life of the Archpriest Avvakum" and P.I.'s own original study of this work. Resulting book will be about 250 pages. P.I. teaches Old Russian literature to Ph.D. candidates. Study will be a useful contribution to students and established scholars in Russian literature.
