To complete research for the second half of a study of John Ruskin and Victorian architecture. To examine Ruskin's papers in the John Rylands Library, visit the Ruskin Museum at Coniston, use the British Museum newspaper collection at Colindale, trace photographs of now vanished buildings, and study at first hand the Ruskinian influence on the designs of such men as John Henry Chamberlain, E.W. Godwin, C.R. Ashbee, and Arthur Mackmurdo.
