To complete a critical edition and study of the Cronica de Alfonso XI and the Gran Cronica de Alfonso XI. The Cronica, written in 1344, is the first history of a Castilian reign contemporary to the events. The Gran Cronica presents the reign of Alfonso in quasi-literary form.
