The Manuscripts of the Augsburg Printer, Johannes Bamler

To examine the early works of Johannes Bamler, an Augsburg printer. Study will examine Bamler's pre-printing press manuscripts which have not received scholarly attention. His manuscripts are important because: 1) they include both Christian and Hebrew texts; and 2) they will shed light on how many craftsmen were affected by the advent of the printing press.
