To study the implications of recent systematic work in moral philosophy (especially Rawls' A Theory of Justice) on current issues in medical ethics. Project will consist of extensive study in four central problem areas: abortion, organ transplantation, genetic counseling and engineering, and either human experimentation or health care delivery.
