A History of Slovaks in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, 1876-1976

To make a study of four generations of Slovaks in America of different faiths. Focus will be on social mobility, how it is perceived by various ethnic groups and if religion effects the mobility of a group. The study will be done through oral interviews and primary documents in Bethlehem and through the reading of contemporary newspapers to determine past attitudes of Slovaks towards life.
