To analyze the apocalypse as a structure of myth, using insights from the structuralist school of myth analysis as developed by Claude Levi- Strauss, and researching the secondary literature of the structuralist school. Central to the analysis is an understanding of the precise nature of the apocalyptic phenomenon in literature.
