Psychological Study of 1940s Films and Their Effect on the Children of That Era

The project will study popular films of the 1940's and their effect on children of that era, particularly girls and their idea of male- female relationships. The study will proceed by grouping films according to their conventions and players according to their types, and by considering the viewpoints of filmmakers and audiences of the time and of contemporary cities.
