The Feminist Controversy in Seventeenth-Century England

To write a critical edition of the most important 17th century feminist and anti-feminist essays. PI will find and transcribe as many of these tracts as possible and will collate copies of 1st editions in search of major textual variants. The book will also contain an introduction which will place these essays in their historical context and discuss briefly their influence on major writers of the period.
