Publishing Collaborations of Ted Hughes and His Circle

FAIN: FT-13326-77

To study the relationship between the British poet, Ted Hughes, and his collaborators during the process of publication in order to identify, analyze and document the profound (if often unconscious) influence these artists and artisans have on each other. These poets are interested in the additional nuances the format can give its reading. PI contends that not only the images and the thematic topics of poems and illustrations, but also the style in which they are executed, the paper on which they are printed and the very material in which they are bound are part of this developing "language".
