To research manuscript collections containing substantial material pertaining to the framing of the Articles of Confederation in the mid-1770s, the struggle over their ratification that took place between 1777 and 1781, and attempts to amend the Articles in the 1780s. This research is part of a larger study of the Continental Congress.
