To study Handel's late orchestral concertos (particularly the twelve concerti grossi, Opus 6). The genesis of these works will be investigated through analysis of any materials which show the work in the process of creation - notations and alterations in the composing, of the use of borrowed themes from earlier works of the composer or from other composers.
