To work on a psychobiography of the young Freud. Through an analysis of those of Freud's dreams which are included in the Interpretation of Dreams. many of which involve political issues and events, PI hopes to show that Freud's central discoveries and theories arose from an interaction between the socio-political influences and pressures under which he did his most important and creative work and the religious and intellectual beliefs and values structures which he absorbed in his youth.
