To examine the implications of PI's theory of liberal egalitarian justice for a contemporary political problem: that of equal educational opportunity. PI wishes to determine whether such a theory can bring more order into the normative debates surrounding these issues and whether there are limits placed upon an ideal theory of justice in providing solutions to problems in the non-ideal world.
