To write a commentary on two epistles of the New Testament, Jude and 2 Peter, both of which are polemical in tone and are probably directly against proponents of the Gnostic "heresy”. PI will develop the symbolic role played by the biblical Cain in Jewish and early Christian sources as a progenitor of theological heresy.
