Some Regvedic Particles and their Interrelations

To study the particles u, su, and nu, which play various and important roles within the syntax and discourse structure of the Rigveda. There are, however, some important inconsistencies in usage which seem to point to an interconnection between u and su on the one hand, and between u and nu on the other. PI will examine these inconsistencies and the extent to which they occur in an effort to determine their exact causes and thereby increase understanding not only of them but also of Vedic discourse.
