Anti-Historical consciousness in 20th Century Narrative

To write a book (a project which should take several years to complete) analyzing the works of Gertrude Stein. Virginia Woolf, Wallace Stevens, Albert Camus, Alberto Moravia, Alain Robbe-Grillet, and Rafael Sanchez Ferlosio in order to discuss the aesthetic expression of this modernistic vision. "Anti-historical consciousness" refers to literature, art, drama, and music forms which reject the past in favor of a continuous present.
