To investigate the theoretical or philosophical controversies surrounding the idea of market socialism, focusing on the issue of whether the market, as an expression of liberal values, is compatible with the traditional socialist values of social ownership, workers' control, non-alienated labor, and egalitarian distribution. PI expects to produce a manuscript of book length.
