The Fascicles of Emily Dickinson: A Facsimile Edition

To complete research for a facsimile of the Emily Dickinson facsimiles which she carefully copied and sewed in packets. Such an edition will further Dickinson scholarship by allowing direct consideration of the unusual punctuation, capitalization, line lengths and other poetry mechanics, but more importantly, by presenting the poems in Dickinson's own groupings for consideration as poetic wholes - gatherings intra-related, for example, by theme, imagery or emotional movement.
