To study the impact of science on the work of artist Paul Klee. Specific borrowings from diverse scientific fields--e.g. call structure, plant morphology, weather patterns and concepts of evolution and statics and dynamics--affected specific works. The result was an overall, complex and personal view of nature on Klee's part. The study will also ask a larger question, that of man's changing view of his surrounding world.
