To work towards completion of a book dealing with the history of modern philosophy (Descartes to Hume) as to advance a new overview of this period, a new theory of the relationships between the philosophical systems of the time. Using a textual rather than critical approach, PI will organize the philosophers according to certain features of their views on causation and causal relations.
