To research anthropological and cross-cultural psychological descriptions of the primitive mind from 1870 to the present. Project involves studying several descriptions of the primitive mind and primitive cultures. Among the scholars and investigators who will supply the source material are-.Edward Burnett Tyler., Emile Durkheim, Franz Boas, Bronislaw Malinowski, Geza Roheim and Claude Levi-Strauss. Ultimate objective of the study will be a better understanding of 20th century interest in myth and myth-making—both in ancient cultures and in English and American literature.
