Research leading to a book about the experiences of the CHamoru and the Marshallese who migrated to Southern California since the 1960s.

Using oral history interviews and archival records, this project will compare and contrast CHamoru and Marshallese community formation in southern California. These two groups comprise the largest Micronesians communities in the United States.
