My goal for next summer is finish a book titled _Kant’s Ethics of Assent: Justification, Knowledge, and Faith in the Critical Philosophy_. The book will examine Kant’s account of the principles that govern our practices of assent-formation in various contexts (everyday, scientific, religious, aesthetic, etc.). My aim is to show that Kant’s view is of significant historical interest, and that portions of it are worthy of consideration in the contemporary context. Ideally I would complete the project in Berlin, and get feedback from members of the "work-in-progress" colloquium at the Humboldt University's Institute for German Idealism.
