My project “Anastasius Sinaita: his Homilia de sacra synaxi and four complementary sermons” consists of two components, each with its own objective. The first regards the preparation of a scientific textus criticus of Anastasius’ (7th century) "Homilia de sacra synaxi" based on approximately 31 manuscripts ranging from the 11th-18th centuries. The second part of the project consists of the translation into English of four Anastasian sermons, including the "Homilia de sacra synaxi." According to scholars, none have appeared in English. I will engage in the preparation of introductions, annotations, analyses of content, the 'status quaestionis' and other elements necessary toward their publication.
