This project will build template tools for Open Context, an open source system for publishing museum, field research, and other cultural heritage collections. The template tools will enable diverse communities to customize the presentation of Open Context content, all while continuing to maintain interoperability and support for important common standards of scholarly communications. With such templates, multiple portals into Open Context can be optimized for different research specializations, localized for different linguistic and cultural settings, and made accessible for disabled community members.
