WGBH Educational Foundation (Boston, MA 02135-2016)
Brenda Burke-Lyons (Project Director: October 2014 to October 2014)
Mark Samels (Project Director: October 2014 to May 2017)

WGBH Education team has plans to create multiple classroom ready resources related to the AMERICAN EXPERIENCE film, Last Days in Vietnam. The classroom resources will deepen the awareness and understanding of this story, particularly among students who may be unaware of this history. Additionally, they will provide stations with tools that allow them to build upon relationships with educators in their communities.
WGBH Education proposes developing a total of seven contextualized educational media resources from Last Days in Vietnam for distribution through PBS LearningMedia. With more than 1.4 million registered users and as many as 2 million monthly views, a collection on PBS LearningMedia is guaranteed to reach a broad audience of classroom teachers.
The combined efforts of WGBH Education, AMERICAN EXPERIENCE marketing and social media teams, and WGBH Station Relations to promote these educational assets will endure broad awareness and encourage adoption.
