The retention of full-time staff to create an interactive virtual exhibition, take-home history and archaeology summer camp kits, and an online donations and revenue portal for the museum.

The Museum of the Coastal Bend will create a publicly accessible interactive virtual exhibit, take-home history and archaeology summer camp kits, and a user-friendly online payments system, ensuring the general public can access and support its programming during the current and future times of closure and social distancing. The Museum will use NEH CARES support to retain its full-time Education Coordinator, a position threatened by the coronavirus pandemic. By the end of the project, the Museum will have a virtual exhibit available to the public online, summer camp kits parents can use at home in lieu of sending their children to on-site camps, and a functional payments system that ensures continuity of donations, membership contributions, and camp payments year-round.
