Implementation of a traveling exhibition, a catalog, and programs on the importance of the senses in European late-Gothic art.

"A Sense of Beauty: Medieval Art and the Five Senses" is an international loan exhibition. This exhibition, the related programming, and the catalog will open many doors to the understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of late medieval art by focusing on the multi-sensory experience at the heart of many late medieval European works of art. This exhibition includes an engaging array of public programs for a diverse audience.
