Joint fellowship program of State University College at Oneonta and N.Y. State Historical Association. Offers intensive one-year masters program in historical society-museum studies and American Folk Culture. Six fellowships. ABSTRACT: Joint fellowship program of State University College at Oneonta and New York State Historical Association offers intensive one-year Master of Arts in historical society-museum studies and American folk culture Program offers courses in museum training, field work, special seminars and conferences, and opportunities to meet and talk with museum administrators. Designed to prepare students for work in historical and theoretical problems related to collections of American historical material and the conservation of those materials. Program designed to help fill the increasing need for qualified historical society, muesum and agency personnel. Several graduates have instituted experimental programs on the utilization of museum resources in local public education. Funds for 6 fellows' stipends, tuition.
