To extend and coordinate the interpretation of a permanent installations presently underway in the Mabel Brady Garvan Galleries of American Art at Yale University. Yale seeks to more fully illuminate the meaning and interrelationships that exist in the American objects on display which include paintings, sculpture, prints, textiles, furniture, silver pewter and other metal wares, ceramics and glass made between 1650 and 1970.
