The George Washington University in cooperation with the Smithsonian Institution seeks fellowship support for MA and PhD candidates in American Studies who are preparing for museum careers. The goal of the George Washington-Smithsonian program is to prepare the future museum curator and administrators to be an active scholar in some area of American history and an effective communicator of his knowledge to the public.
